The Grand Saline Indians softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Malakoff Tigers to 2 in the Indians league win on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sulphur Springs for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. Grand Saline will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 league win over Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 21-7.

With the loss, Malakoff moves to 18-7 on the season. The Tigers host Winona (Winona, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 15 battle on Thursday, April 17. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 0-15. Winona lost 20-1 in their recent league battle against Mineola (Mineola, TX)
