The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hawthorne Bears (Hawthorne, NJ) and the host Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ), observed Hawthorne's softball team notch a victory over Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology by a final score of 16-0.

The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ). The Eagles go into the NJIC - Colonial bout with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Eastern Christian beat Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ), 11-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology moves to 2-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Butler (Butler, NJ) to encounter the Bulldogs in a NJIC - Colonial outing on Monday, April 21. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 3-4. Butler lost 7-5 in their recent non-league outing against Morristown (Morristown, NJ)
