The Salem Spartans softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Hidden Valley Titans to 0 in the Spartans league win on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. Salem will confront a Vikings team coming off a 17-3 league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Hidden Valley moves to 2-5 on the season. The Titans travel to Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Patriots in a River Ridge battle on Wednesday, April 16. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 1-10. Patrick Henry lost 21-3 in their recent league battle against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA)
