Texas High School Softball - Sanford-Fritch bounces Highland Park

The Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX) softball routed the host Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), 24-8 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Follett for a 2A Region I District 1 outing on Thursday, April 17.

With the loss, Highland Park moves to 5-17 on the season. The Hornets travel to Sunray (Sunray, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Friday, April 18. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 7-3. Sunray won 14-3 in their recent non-league outing against Gruver (Gruver, TX)
