The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Purdy Eagles (Purdy, MO) and the host Hurley Tigers (Hurley, MO), observed Purdy's softball team notch a victory over Hurley by a tally of 13-0.

The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lamar (Lamar, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Lamar gained a win over Diamond (Diamond, MO), 11-9, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Marionville Comets (Marionville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 21. Hurley will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Skyline (Urbana, MO).
