Ohio High School Softball - Mapleton held off by New London

April 15, 2025: Ashland, OH 44805

The New London Wildcats got by the host Mapleton Mounties softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Loudonville Redbirds (Loudonville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 17. New London will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Redbirds go into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Wooster (Wooster, OH).

The Mounties (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dalton (Dalton, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Dalton held off Rittman (Rittman, OH), 10-0, in a league challenge.
