California High School Softball - Mary Star of the Sea drops to St. Monica

The Mary Star of the Sea Stars softball squad (San Pedro, CA), was routed 14-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA)

With the triumph, St. Monica improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Mariners host Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA) to face the Knights in a Camino Real contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 12-5. Bishop Montgomery won 5-3 in their recent league contest against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA)

The Stars now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Conaty-Loretto for a Camino Real contest on Monday, April 28.
