Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD), 16-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Redfield upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Pheasants host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD) to play the Titans in a Class B game on Thursday, April 17. The Titans enter the game with a record of 1-1. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton won 19-8 in their recent non-league game against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sioux Valley for a Class A game on Monday, April 28.
