The Monument Mountain Spartans triumphed over the visiting Smith Vo-Tech Vikings softball squad by a count of 15-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Lee Wildcats (Lee, MA) in a Berkshire County challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Monument Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Westfield Technical Academy (Westfield, MA).
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Westfield Technical Academy (Westfield, MA). The Tigers enter the PVIAC - Tri County North challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Westfield Technical Academy was routed by Lee (Lee, MA), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
