The Turners Falls Thunder triumphed over the visiting Mount Greylock Regional Mounties softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Thunder meet the Wahconah Regional Warriors (Dalton, MA) in a PVIAC - Franklin challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Turners Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 13-1 league loss to Greenfield (Greenfield, MA).
The Mounties (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Thunder enter the PVIAC - Franklin challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Taconic was routed by Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA), 12-5, in a league challenge.
