The Northern Garrett Huskies softball squad (Accident, MD), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Southern Rams (Oakland, MD)

With the triumph, Southern improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Rams host Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD) to face the Miners in a Western Maryland contest on Tuesday, April 22. The Miners enter the contest with a record of 5-3. Mountain Ridge won 7-4 in their recent non-league contest against Keyser (Keyser, WV)

The Huskies now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Hill for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 17. Northern Garrett will face a Sentinels squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-8.
