The Plainfield South Cougars softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Romeoville Spartans to 1 in the Cougars league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Batavia for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. Plainfield South will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 22-0 non-league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Romeoville moves to 2-5 on the season. The Spartans host Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a Suburban Prairie - South battle on Thursday, April 17. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 4-6. Plainfield Central won 4-2 in their recent non-league battle against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
