The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) and the visiting Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA), observed Santa Fe's softball team get by Whittier by a tally of 10-3.

The Chiefs (8-10) will now prepare for their bout against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA). The Dons go into the Del Rio bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, El Rancho tipped St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 11-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the California Condors (Whittier, CA) in a Del Rio outing, on Thursday, April 17. Whittier will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Condors come into the outing with a 13-7 record after their 7-2 league loss to La Serna (Whittier, CA).
