New Jersey High School Softball - Union knocked off by Summit

The Summit Hilltoppers overwhelmed the host Union Farmers softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hilltoppers meet the New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Summit will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Kent Place (Summit, NJ).

The Farmers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Union Catholic was routed by Chatham (Chatham, NJ), 10-4, in a non-league challenge.
