The Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ) baseball the host Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 6-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Ridgers now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newark Academy for a SEC - Colonial challenge on Friday, April 17. Glen Ridge will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 13-10 league loss to Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, Bloomfield drops to 2-6 on the year. The Bengals travel to Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ) to clash with the Panthers in a SEC - Colonial challenge on Friday, April 17. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Cedar Grove won 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Belleville (Belleville, NJ)
