New York High School Baseball - Columbia nips Niskayuna

April 15, 2026: East Greenbush, NY 12061

The Columbia Blue Devils baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Niskayuna Silver Warriors to 1 in the Blue Devils league win on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ichabod Crane for a non-league test on Thursday, April 16. Columbia will play a Riders team coming off a 15-0 league win over Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY). The Riders record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Niskayuna drops to 2-3 on the year. The Silver warriors host La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to play the Cadets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 18. The Cadets go into the test with a record of 5-1. La Salle Institute won 5-4 in their recent league test against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY)
