Nevada High School Softball - Fernley can't get by Lowry

The Lowry Buckaroos edged the visiting Fernley Vaqueros softball squad by a count of 15-14 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Buckaroos meet the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 17. Lowry will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Greenwave enter the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Elko (Elko, NV).

The Vaqueros (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 6-14 record. In their last challenge, Dayton was nudged by Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 17-12, in a non-league challenge.
