Oregon High School Softball - Summit drops to Bend

Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Summit Storm (Bend, OR), 18-9 in a league game.

With the triumph, Bend improves its record to 4-8 on the year. The Lava Bears host Ridgeview (Redmond, OR) to play the Ravens in a 5A Intermountain game on Tuesday, April 21. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 8-4. Ridgeview won 15-0 in their recent league game against Crook County (Prineville, OR)

The Storm now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Redmond for a 5A Intermountain game on Friday, April 17. Summit will play a Panthers squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Mountain View (Bend, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 2-9.
