California High School Softball - Sultana bounces Burroughs

April 15, 2026: Ridgecrest, CA 93555

The Sultana Sultans (Hesperia, CA) softball routed the host Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), 19-6 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Sultans now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Hills for a Mojave River outing on Friday, April 17. Sultana will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-13 league loss to Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Burroughs moves to 5-15 on the season. The Burros host Hesperia (Hesperia, CA) to encounter the Scorpions in a Mojave River outing on Friday, April 17. The Scorpions come into the outing with a record of 13-10. Hesperia lost 8-7 in their recent league outing against Serrano (Phelan, CA)
