In Saturday's league game, the host Eureka Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Webster Groves Statesmen.
The Wildcats (14-2) will now prepare for their game against Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO). The Statesmen go into the Class 5 District 2 game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Webster Groves was edged by Granite City (Granite City, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Statesmen (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Eureka (Eureka, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 6 District 3 game with a 12-2 record.
