New Mexico High School Baseball - Santa Fe holds off Manzano

Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) and the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Santa Fe's baseball squad knock off Manzano by a count of 13-9.

Coming up next, the Demons play the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 5 battle, on Saturday, April 16. Santa Fe will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Monarchs enter the battle with a 5-13 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM).

The Monarchs now possess a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Fe for a 5A District 5 battle on Saturday, April 16. Manzano will play a Demons squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Demons record now stands at 7-12.
