The Parkersburg Big Reds baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Riverside Warriors to 7 in the Big Reds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Big Reds (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Parkersburg South was edged by University (Morgantown, WV), 8-5, in a league match.
The Warriors (1-6) will now prepare for their match against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles go into the Mountain State match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, South Charleston was edged by Winfield (Winfield, WV), 12-1, in a non-league match.
