The Alameda Hornets volleyball team (Alameda, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host James Logan Colts (Union City, CA)

The Colts (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Dons enter the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Amador Valley nipped Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 16. Alameda will attempt to move on its 5-15 season record. The Oilers enter the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Emery (Emeryville, CA).
