The La Canada Spartans topped the host Venice Gondoliers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Marino for a Rio Hondo test on Tuesday, April 19. La Canada will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Titans record now stands at 10-9.
The Gondoliers (23-9) will now prepare for their test against University (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats enter the Western test with a 26-8 record. In their last test, University gained a win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
