The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) and the visiting St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), saw Staples's lacrosse team top St. Joseph by a margin of 19-10.

The Wreckers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, St. John's Prep was overwhelmed by Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA), 8-4, in a non-league challenge.

The Cadets (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT). The Bears enter the Fairfield County challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Norwalk was overwhelmed by Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 20-0, in a league challenge.
