Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) and the visiting Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), witnessed Batavia's softball squad prevail over Glenbard East by a count of 11-3.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Park for a DuKane match on Monday, April 18. Batavia will face a Lancers squad coming off a 11-6 non-league win over South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Glenbard East moves to 5-5 on the season. The Rams host Fenton (Bensenville, IL) to face the Bison in a Upstate Eight match on Monday, April 18. The Bison go into the match with a record of 4-4. Fenton won 4-3 in their recent league match against Larkin (Elgin, IL)
