The Marist RedHawks routed the host Benet Academy Redwings softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Saturday's league battle.
The RedHawks (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL). The Broncos go into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Montini Catholic was routed by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 12-4, in a league battle.
The Redwings now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Fenwick for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 19. Benet Academy will meet a Friars squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Friars record now stands at 5-4.
