The Shenandoah Zeps routed the visiting Buckeye Local Panthers softball squad by a count of 20-4 in Saturday's league battle.

The Zeps (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Panthers go into the Mid Ohio Athletic battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Buckeye Local was routed by Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now sport a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Shenandoah for a Ohio Valley Athletic AAA battle on Saturday, April 16. Buckeye Local will meet a Zeps squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH). The Zeps record now stands at 3-1.
