Washington High School Softball - Cashmere holds off Cascade

Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA), 6-4 in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Omak for a 1A Caribou Trail challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Cashmere will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Colville (Colville, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Cascade falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Kodiaks travel to Quincy (Quincy, WA) to battle the Jackrabbits in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Jackrabbits enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
