The Edison Chargers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Magnificat Blue Streaks to 2 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Edison moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Chargers host Margaretta (Castalia, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a Sandusky Bay - Bay game on Monday, April 18. The Polar Bears come into the game with a record of 10-1. Margaretta won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH)

In their next game, the Blue Streaks play the Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 19. Magnificat will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Longhorns come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 12-2 league loss to Independence (Independence, OH).
