The Laguna Acoma Hawks softball team (New Laguna, NM), was tipped 18-17 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM)
Coming up next, the Thunderbirds encounter the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) in a 3A District 1 test, on Tuesday, April 19. Zuni will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 3-8 record after their 24-8 league win over Newcomb (Newcomb, NM).
The Hawks (8-6) will now prepare for their test against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats come into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, McCurdy was tipped by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM), 19-2, in a non-league test.
