The Abingdon Falcons baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Lee Generals to 0 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Wolfpack go into the Mountain 7 match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Ridgeview was overwhelmed by John Battle (Bristol, VA), 12-2, in a league match.
The Generals (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY). The Cougars / Lady Cougars go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Letcher County Central ran past Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY), 10-3, in a non-league match.
