East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 24-1 in a league test.

With the win, East Rowan upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Mustangs host North Stanly (New London, NC) to battle the Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 17. The Comets come into the test with a record of 19-2. North Stanly won 10-0 in their recent league test against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

With the defeat, Concord falls to 3-16 on the season. The Spiders host Carson (China Grove, NC) to battle the Cougars in a South Piedmont 3A test on Friday, April 19. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 12-8. Carson won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
