The David Emanuel Academy Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host The Habersham School Patriots to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA). The Jaguars go into the GIAA A District 4 match with a 8-10 record. In their last match, Thomas Jefferson Academy gained a win over John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA), 7-4, in a league match.
The Patriots (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Vidalia Heritage Academy (Vidalia, GA). The Eagles go into the GAPPS I-A Region 4 match with a 17-5 record. In their last match, Vidalia Heritage Academy was overwhelmed by Brentwood (Sandersville, GA), 6-5, in a non-league match.
