In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Edsel Ford Thunderbirds baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Taylor Griffins.

The Thunderbirds (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Trenton (Trenton, MI). The Trojans go into the Downriver game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Trenton was edged by Anderson (Southgate, MI), 3-1, in a league game.

The Griffins (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Railsplitters come into the Downriver challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Park was nudged by Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI), 11-0, in a league challenge.
