North Carolina High School Baseball - Harnett Central nips Overhills

April 16, 2024: Angier, NC 27501

Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Harnett Central upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to battle the Storm in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 17. The Storm come into the test with a record of 9-7. Willow Spring won 10-2 in their recent league test against Cleveland (Clayton, NC)

With the defeat, Overhills falls to 7-8 on the season. The Jaguars host Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to battle the Trojans in a All American 3A/4A test on Friday, April 19. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 14-6. Harnett Central lost 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC)
