Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Montour defeats Hopewell

Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) and the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), saw Montour's baseball squad knock off Hopewell by a count of 8-1.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 18. Montour will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Talbots enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Indiana (Indiana, PA).

The Vikings now possess a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Valley for a WPIAL 4A 1 battle on Monday, April 22.
