The Coronado Islanders held off the visiting Morse Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Islanders now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a test on Thursday, April 18. Coronado will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.
The Tigers (20-4) will now prepare for their test against Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Komets enter the test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Kearny was nudged by Mission Bay (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
