The Monarch Royals volleyball team (San Diego, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting High Tech Mesa Thunder (San Diego, CA)

The Thunder (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA). The Redhawks enter the Patriot challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Empire was dropped by School for Entrepreneurship & Technology (San Diego, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Royals meet the High Tech CV Bruins (Chula Vista, CA) in a Patriot challenge, on Thursday, April 18. Monarch will attempt to move on its 2-21 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA).
