The St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish volleyball team (Akron, OH), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Western Reserve Academy Pioneers (Hudson, OH)

The Pioneers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Walsh Jesuit defeated Nordonia (Macedonia, OH), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Irish encounter the Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) in a challenge, on Thursday, April 18. St. Vincent-St. Mary will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Louisville (Louisville, OH).
