Vandalia Christian Vikings (Greensboro, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Alamance Christian Warriors (Graham, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings face the Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 18. Vandalia Christian will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Bradford Academy (Mebane, NC).

The Warriors now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland Baptist Christian for a NCCSA AA District 1 - West Region challenge on Friday, April 19. Alamance Christian will face a Eagles team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
