North Carolina High School Soccer - Roxboro Community knocks off Henderson Collegiate

Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Henderson Collegiate Pride (Henderson, NC), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) in a Triangle North 1A challenge, on Friday, April 19. Roxboro Community will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Flying Lions enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 8-0 league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC).

The Pride now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Voyager for a Triangle North 1A challenge on Thursday, April 18. Henderson Collegiate will confront a Vikings team coming off a 10-1 league win over Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-2.
