The Salem Spartans soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Pulaski County Cougars to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Spartans face the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 18. Salem will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA).
The Cougars now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cave Spring for a River Ridge contest on Friday, April 19. Pulaski County will face a Knights team coming off a 0-0 league Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
