The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) softball routed the host Mount de Sales Academy Sailors (Catonsville, MD), 18-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Chesapeake notched a victory over Southern (Harwood, MD), 24-3, in a non-league bout.

The Sailors now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host John Carroll for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18.
