The Artesia Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Goddard Rockets to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Artesia moves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Lovington (Lovington, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, April 22. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 0-6.

In their next game, the Rockets play the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 19. Goddard will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record.
