The Broadway Gobblers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Harrisonburg Blue Streaks to 0 in the Gobblers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Broadway improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Gobblers host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, April 19. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 1-5. Rockbridge County lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)

In their next game, the Blue Streaks clash with the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 19. Harrisonburg will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
