Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Dust Devils now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elko for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Dayton will battle a Indians squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Indians record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Lassen falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to battle the Miners in a challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Miners enter the challenge with a record of 8-6.
