The El Capitan Vaqueros softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Granite Hills Eagles to 2 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, El Capitan moves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 17. The Knights come into the game with a record of 8-4. San Marcos lost 10-9 in their recent non-league game against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a game, on Thursday, April 18. Granite Hills will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Sultans come into the game with a 16-2 record after their 10-2 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA).
