Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA), 26-4 in a league challenge.

The Monarchs now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanford West for a challenge on Friday, April 19. Exeter will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Selma (Selma, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Washington Union falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Selma (Selma, CA) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 7-4.
