Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 22-1 in a league battle.

The Cougars now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host St. Stephens for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Tuesday, April 23.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle, on Thursday, April 18. Patton will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Red Tornadoes come into the battle with a 9-2 record after their 19-6 league win over St. Stephens (Hickory, NC).
